Intumescent coatings are passive fire protection systems applied to structural steelwork. In the event of fire, the coating expands to many times its original thickness, forming an insulating char layer that delays temperature rise in the steel.
We work with manufacturer-approved systems from Sherwin-Williams, Hempel, and Nullifire to ensure full warranty compliance. Every project is documented with a QA handover pack including DFT readings, batch records, and third-party inspection certificates.
Our fire protection works are carried out by FIRAS accredited operatives in accordance with BS EN 13381-8, with full technical submittals provided for your fire engineer and building control.
